A half-hearted attempt to win back some of my more liberal readers

Bush is a chimp.

*Update*
We need to divide and conquer.

*Update 2*
Atrios is blogging god. I promise to relink both him and Kos.

*Update 3*
I miss Clinton. I really hope for a Hillary run in 2008.

*Update 4*
Howard Dean is my mother fucking master. Boo yeah bitches.

*Update 5*
What do you think I am serious? This post is bullshit. Really it is. I did not like Clinton when he was in office, but I do miss his economy and global view. I think Hillary would be a terrible choice for my party to pick. I am who I am, Just plain old Jess. I am not a fan of Dean, I am fan of moving in one direction, I am not a Bushie, but whether I like it or not he is indeed the preznit. Love it or hate it. I am me.

How liberal is "more liberal"? Just wondering, you know. Some of us have left town, but it wasn't due to your comments. I know, I know, you tried and it was a good effort, Jess, but... we're still here. Like fleas....just tough to get rid of.

Jess,

Let me help you out here. (Just bear with me. Play along.)

I can't believe how liberal you are. And that comment "Bush is a chimp" cuts to the quick. I mean ... that is the essence of all the we on the right can not refute.

Go away, liberal man. You have sent me cowering in shame and self-loathing.

This blog is too liberal for me to read. You don't think like me, so get out of here.

Am I one of the lib friends you're referring to? I don't comment much, but not because I need to be "won back". I just hardly time anymore to read blogs.

That aside, you chose about the shittiest way possible to win'em, if that is what you were really after. By insulting them, Jess? And then saying, "I'm different than you", thereby assuming your "liberal readers" are a bloc who all adore Dean, Hillary, and Atrios.

I'm actually guessing that this post was about scoring righty brownie points as a "voice of reason" than it was about "winning back".

Half-hearted indeed.

BTW, your comments still won't "remember" me.

I'll dig around and fix the "remember" cookie.

Phin.mu.nu had a quick and dirty that fixed mine up quick.

PW, does yours remember on Warmonger now?...as if you've been over there...

It was a joke. It was trying to say, ha fucking ha. Damn Charlie. How did I insult my readers? I never have. Different? I have never met two people alike.

Posted by: jess @ LOSLI at June 2, 2005 05:26 AM

What? We can't laugh at ourselves? Damn. If this is an insult I am sorry. But to me I believed most LOSLI readers would be able to tell I was joking.

I say again ... Go away, liberal man!!!

Posted by: DC at June 2, 2005 09:24 AM

Remain calm! All is well.

Until we straighten this trainwreck out and get Jess laid to soothe his ailing nerves, check out:

And now for something completely different...

I do need to get laid. This being away from home for a month plus sucks. I miss it. Too bad they play all those sad cheating songs in Texas, they have deterred me more than once.

Hey! I say, Hey! your site *finally* remembers me!

Oh, thats not what the post was about? You weren't trying to get rid of me by making me type my info over and over and over and over...
Sorry. I'm fine.

DC, get a grip. You want him and you know it, but you can't have Jess. He's ours. Honest. That electronic bracelet on his ankle, really, says he's ours.

Posted by: JulieB at June 2, 2005 11:27 PM

S'right Jess. It just read like a dig at me, what with the Dean, Atrios, and "divide and conquer" references. It also read like a little bit of ass-kissing (of the right cheek).

But no matter. It's cool.

Mainly I haven't been commenting because I don't sit a desk all day anymore. And it's not just you. The "remember me" thing didn't help either . . . glad you guys fixed that.

Speaking of . . . Jeremy I haven't been around much for the same reasons. The fact that you once banned and de-linked me does not give me warm-and-fuzzies either. But I'm over that.
